I have this notebook for a week. The first thing to do when his turn on the laptop, make recovery disks and disk driver with Toshiba software pre-installed, just open the program and will inform you pop in blank DVD quick and easy, then you can do what want. It comes with two 250G hard drives. So, you can save files on a disk and dedicate one to OS to help your laptop run faster. I formatted both and installed a new copy of Vista Ultimate 64. Works perfectly.

The handset has proven and is easy to use. The response of the keyboard is nice and light and screen size. The operating system Windows Vista is more difficult than XP, but it is OK. Easily shows fingerprints on laptop surfaces, but easily swept away. A good deal.

Pros: lightweight, good screen, reasonable speed, man.

CONS: Short battery life (about 2 hours). Becomes very, very hot, especially on the bottom left. Loud fan is trying to cool the computer and remains for most of the time. Surface is very glossy and is a fingerprint magnet.

Nice computer, but sometimes it's so hot like an iron. Felt.

I have several Netbooks / small computers over the years of ownership and that is the only one that could be considered a substitute for my laptop. Comes with Vista Premium, runs OK, with a free upgrade to Win7. Win7 RC1 runs much better than Vista. Win7 in RC1, really "feels" like a laptop computer and a performance index of 3.2, which is much better than the Atom-based netbook. Slingbox, Netflix, ESPN360, Hulu and YouTube, all is well. battery will last about 4.5 hours if they are constantly streaming video. I wish there were other larger laptops in the timeline of the series Acer more. No Bluetooth. I take this opportunity of this computer for a couple of days he had, and I must say that I am still impressed. My impression is used by Acer that their products were cheap, but not necessarily the best performance and high quality. Acer seems to have produced a real winner with this, with a large value in a quality machine ..

I bought this laptop mainly for programming, and the ability to convert videos from one format to another, plus the usual stuff, like Internet browsing and playing children.

I must say I was impressed with the product as a whole, since the beginning of the project, bright widescreen display, 5-in-1 card reader, the full keyboard (an advantage for me because I used to work with Excel, and the number of strikes is much easier this way), and the power of its processor, which, although not a Core 2 Duo works very well with multitasking applications every day.
